New Delhi(Team filtered): A polling officer wearing a dark yellow sari is setting the internet on fire nowadays. Images of this woman officer have gone viral over the last few days. In the images, she is seen carrying an EVM. The viral reports claim that “her looks” ensured 100% voting at the booth where she was on duty.

This yellow sari woman is not a model and she is commissioned by the EC. After the investigation, we found that she is a government servant from UP, and works as a junior assistant with PWD in Lucknow. Her name is Reena Dwivedi.
The pictures, that went viral, were clicked by a journalist named Tushar Rai a day before the fifth phase of polling while Reena was checking the poll preparedness at her booth. Photos of her wearing a yellow sari went viral on Facebook and WhatsApp where it was claimed that her name was Nalini Singh and was the winner of ‘Mrs Jaipur’ pageant.
The photographs taken during this time are being shared in different names and names of different places.

Conclusion

It is clear that viral stories about a woman are FAKE. It is also false about the commissioning of Mrs Jaipur’s duty for 100 per cent polling by the Election Commission.
